The other cable car goes below Harmelekopf peak at m where there are some red pistes. There are also off-piste trails that run down the back side of Harmelekopf but these must be skied with a qualified guide.

Confident intermediates and advanced skiers can also take a minute bus ride to Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Mittenwald, situated over the border in Germany.

These resorts are both available on the Happy Card lift pass with Seefeld and are great for those looking for more adventurous terrain.

Seefeld is situated at m and has reliable snow conditions with an average snow depth of 63cm at the mountain station and 33cm at its valley station.

The resort also has artificial snow making facilities that cover all of its pistes. The town is at the heart of the Olympiaregion which is a group of five villages where are best explored by cross country skiing or walking.
